“Let’s Keep Calm and Breathe”: Meditation’s Effects on Children’s Behavior
Dr Joe partnered with Dr Peta Stapleton at Australia’s Bond University to study meditation’s effects on 900 primary school children over a 10-week period. This is the largest study on kids and meditation ever conducted.
Just five minutes of daily meditation showed:
- An increase in happiness and school performance with a decrease in emotional and behavioral difficulties for 4-8-year-olds.
- An increase in emotional awareness with a decrease in emotional and behavioral difficulties in 9-11-year-olds.
️ - Enhanced self-regulation in all children.
Let’s envision a future where we inspire and nurture our youth from a greater level of consciousness. Read the paper and help us share this important work.
Be a catalyst.
